Doctor's Appointment #1,000,463.....

At least that's what it feels like!! Looks like I am now dilated to a 4, 90% effaced, and the babies head has moved down. I think Logan's wanting to make his appearance!!! The doctor said that at this point they wouldn't try to stop labor if it started...I still haven't had any contractions!! The nurse that does my non-stress test thinks that I will have a really smooth labor and delivery with the way that things have been going. I'm starting to get more and more excited to meet my little man!! I never knew I could want something SO bad!

Another Baby Shower!!!

We had our 2nd baby shower on Tuesday...thanks Chels, Cindy, and Lynley for putting it all together. They had it set up so cute! It was really fun, and we got a lot of great gifts!! We also tie-dyed little onesies...I made one for Logan and it turned out perfect!!! Thanks to everyone who came. It's always nice to be surrounded by those who love you...especially when you've been on bedrest and don't get out much!! I need to go through my stuff and take more picture, but here's a few pictures of our night...

My picture doesn't do it justice!!

The CUTE diaper cake!!

Hannah is off track for a couple weeks so she is down staying with me. Here she is working on her tie-dye.

Here's my onesie for Logan...it looks better in person!

Thanks again for the shower! It was perfect!! I can't wait for Logan to get here and put all our fun stuff to use!

*Update: I went to the doctor yesterday and I am almost a 4...other than that it's all the same. The baby looks good, and I'm still not showing any contractions. We just keep doing what we have been and wait for our little ones arrival...something that I REALLY look forward to!!

Look What I Made!!

My sister-in-law Chelsea has been teaching me how to crochet hats. I attempted one and it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to...of course I will still use it, but I had something in mind and this wasn't it. So on Friday I went over to spend the day with her and we tried a new one. I love the way it turned out. I'm planning on getting his pictures taken with it on when he comes, but we didn't have a little head to measure so hopefully it works.
You don't get the full effect with Joe's arm!! I can't wait to actually put it on Logan!!! Thanks again Chels!!!

Also, it was Joe's birthday yesterday. I'm not really on top of things so this is his belated birthday shoutout. He has been the most supportive, loving husband through the last 2 months. I am so grateful for him and the love that he has for me and Logan! I watch him with our nieces and nephews and I know that he is going to be such a great dad! I love hearing him talk about how excited he is for our baby to come. That's definitely our main topic of conversation!! Happy Birthday Joe!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

*Update...I keep wondering if these are getting old, but people are telling me to keep doing them so I guess I will. I had my first non-stress test last week. The baby looked really good...he had the hiccups during it! I wasn't showing any contractions...they said my uterus is just irritable. I also saw my doctor that day, and I am now dilated to a 3. I asked him what he thought about when the baby will come and he said there is no way to tell. He said that with this being my first baby and I'm only 32 weeks and already dilated to a 3 he will most likely be coming early, it's just how early that we don't know. So I guess it's just a waiting game now!!!

32 weeks...and counting!!!

32 weeks...we made it!!! I can't believe I've been on bedrest for 6 weeks! Although it has been pretty hard on me, it's gone by so fast. And I'm so glad that my little guy has decided to stay put for this long. Now that I'm 32 weeks we've past most of the critical stuff...in other words, I don't have to stress out about every little thing!! And since I made it to 32 weeks the girls at work decided to throw me a surprise baby shower last night. It was so fun to see all of them! It's been really hard for me not being able to go to work every day and have our daily conversations and actually have a social life. (I don't necessarily miss the actual work part!!!) They are such a great group of girls!! Thanks so much for thinking of me...and for the great gifts!! Last night was just what I needed!

*Update on progress...I'm now dilated to a 2. I start non-stress tests on Wednesday, I will do those once a week. And I continue to see my doctor weekly as well. I'll let you know what happens at my appointments tomorrow.

Now I get to order my swing...thanks again girls!!!!

Doctor's Appointments and Fun Craft

So I had 2 doctor's appointments this week. Yesterday I saw my regular doctor...nothing too exciting. I'm still dilated to a 1, the only difference is that the baby has moved down quite a bit. He says it still feels like he is floating rather than pressing right on my cervix. Today I went to the perinatologist. They did an ultrasound so we got to see the baby again! I love it!! The baby looks good, they said he even has hair!! That came as a shock to me! From their measurements they estimate that he weighs 3 lbs. 11 oz., but that's not completely accurate. My pregnancy books say that he should be about 3 pounds so I'm sure he's somewhere in the middle. They tried to get a 3D picture of his face but he didn't want to cooperate...already stubborn!! We would see his face for a second and then he would turn away or put his hand in front of his face. He was also pressing his nose right up against the placenta so that didn't help either. But things look good, they didn't measure my cervix so I don't know if it has shortened anymore, but I'm not too worried about that. I'm still pregant, that's all that matters!! And I'm still on bedrest...unfortuntately! But my sister-in-law bought these cute witches boots for us to make so we tackled them yesterday. It was so fun...and such a nice change from the TV!!!

Not the greatest picture, but I had to put one of me working!!

Chels and I with our boots.

The finished products...aren't they cute???

I had so much fun making this! I struggled with a few things...crafts aren't my forte!! But I love how it turned out. Thanks so much for thinking of me Chels, and thanks for spending the day over here! We definitely need to do it again!!

Oh, and my sister Ashley had a baby girl on Monday. Her name is Myra, 7 lbs. 1 oz., 18 1/2 inches long. And she is SO cute!!! Here's a picture to prove it...

Isn't she adorable?? We have a major shortage of girls in the Weeks family!! Congrats Dave & Ash!!!
